What is sustainable fashion?

Sustainable fashion is the commitment to lowering the impact the fashion industry has on the planet. The fast fashion industry is one of the leading causes of pollution in the world. We are committed to provide clothing that doesn’t contribute to the problem by our accountability guarantee.

How do we stay accountable in sustainability?

• Raw materials are either rescued from dead stock fabrics or composed of recycled materials
• A portion of our raw materials are manufactured in Los Angeles, Ca
• All garments are manufactured in the USA lowering our carbon emission
• Small quality-controlled bulk production
• Our packaging is 100% recycled and is recyclable
• In 2021 we are working toward climate neutral certification

 What is our process for choosing raw materials?

We work with our factories to source materials that are either made locally, manufactured from recycled fiber, or are reused. We work hard to choose ethical fabrications that meet our high quality standards.

 What are reused fabrics?

Fabrications that are at the mill ready to be sent to a landfill because they are dead stock from other manufactures.

What are recycled fabrics?

Fabrications made up of fibers that have been recycled.

 Are our products vegan?

Yes! All of our products are 100% vegan.

 What is climate neutral?

Climate Neutral Certified is the label earned by companies that offset and reduce all of their greenhouse gas emissions.

 How do we offset carbon emissions?

We offset our carbon emissions by manufacturing in the USA in small production runs.

What is our packaging manufactured from?

Our packaging is made in the USA of 100% recycled paper; 97% post-consumer waste. Additionally, our packaging is recyclable + biodegradable.

 

ORDER FAQ

 When will I receive my order?

Orders are processed within 1 business day of placing your order. All orders are shipped from the east coast using USPS. You will receive your order in 7 business days or less.

 How much is shipping?

We offer free domestic shipping on all orders over $100. All orders under $100 ship for a flat rate of $10.00.

Do you ship international?

Yes! International shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.

 What is your return policy?

We are happy to provide a full refund for items that meet the below conditions:

•  Items must be returned within 15 days of receiving your order
• All original tags must remain attached
• Items must be unworn, and returned in original condition
• Return must include original packing slip and return authorization form

 What if I need to return an item?

E-mail shop@summerstewart.com with your invoice number and reason for return. If your return is approved we will e-mail you within the next business day with a return authorization form

Upon receipt we will process your return.

 What if I ship a return without an approved return authorization form? Or if my return is late?

The package will be returned to sender if it does not include a return authorization form or if the return is post marked past 15 days of order receipt.

 Can I exchange my item for a different size?

Yes. Please indicate in return request that you would like to exchange for a different size. If we have the item available we are happy to process the exchange.

 When will I receive my refund?

Refunds will post within 7-10 business days from e-mail confirmation of processed return.

           

GARMENT CARE FAQ

 Care instructions for leggings, bike shorts, sports bras:

Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low. Cool iron if needed.

Care instructions for sweatshirts, sweatpants, and t-shirts:

Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low. Warm iron if needed.

Care instructions for garment dyed styles:

Machine wash separately in cold water. Tumble dry low. Warm iron if needed.

Care instructions for masks:

Machine wash cold. Re-shape and lay flat to dry. Warm iron if needed.
